A Fatal crash on 9/13/2020 on State Road 10 ( US Highway 90 ) / Walden Road was reported by FHP..
According to the FHP report;
Vehicle 1 (V01) was traveling east on State Road 10 (US Highway 90), approaching Walden Road. Vehicle 2 (V02 – Motorcycle) and Vehicle 3 (V03 – Motorcycle) were traveling side-by-side westbound on State Road 10, passing Walden Road.
V01 attempted to turn left (north) onto Walden Road. As a result, V01 violated V02 and V03’s right-of-way causing the front of V02 and V03 to collide with the front passenger’s side of V01. Due to the collision, V01 was pushed backwards off the north side of the roadway and came to final rest facing southeast. V02 and V03 came to final rest on State Road 10, near Walden Road.
The driver and passenger of V01 received minor injuries.
The driver of VO2, age 54 male from Defuniak Springs and driver of VO3, age 25 male from Navarre were pronounced deceased on scene..
Charges are pending further investigation.
Next of Kin notifications have been completed to both D02 and D03’s families.
