Congratulations to three Navarre athletes who took top-three honors today at the regional track meet in Bunnell, Florida.
Rachel Leggett won the girls’ high jump. She cleared 5-feet, 7-3/4 inches for a school record. She also notched a bronze medal in the long jump, soaring to 17-4.
Talin Griffin made another monstrous improvement in the pole vault at regionals. He cleared 15 feet, three inches for second place. It’s another six-inch improvement to his shcool record.
Tyson Morgan took third in the same event, besting his district height by 18 inches (14-9).
Although qualifiers haven’t been posted yet, the state meet is May 7-8 at the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville.
