Yesterday after covering the Navarre pier we went to the last pavilion on the Gulf located in the Marine park. After taking some beach photos as I was leaving two people approached wearing scuba suits. What caught my eye about this couple was that one of them had a underwater camera in their hand.
This turned out to be a lesson in why you should never be to shy to ask a question even to a complete stranger. The question asked was if you would like to share any photos that you take today? I would like to share them with our newspaper readers.
This is how I came to meet the McCall’s. This husband and wife team scuba dives in the Gulf. Rebecca is the photographer of the family. I asked are you a professional photographer? Rebecca replied “Just as a hobby but would love to start a business selling them at some point. I’ve been diving for 4 years. My husband and I ran a scuba charter out of Pensacola FL for 4 years. We just sold it and moved to Navarre and we love diving the beach in Navarre.”
We thank Rebecca McCall for sharing her beautiful photos.
