The Raider boys’ lacrosse team exploded Tuesday with seven, first-half goals to defeat the Fort Walton Beach Vikings 12-4.

According to Navarre’s players and head coach, it was sweet vindication after suffering an 11-5 loss to the Vikings in February.

Early in the second half, FWB rallied to score twice quickly, but Navarre’s midfield and defense tightened and Viking shots were stopped or sailed off-the-mark.

This was the second-highest offensive outpouring, just two shy of their season best against Pensacola.

Navarre improved to 3-8, and FWB suffered its third straight loss for a 6-6 record on the season.
