Navarre man released from Hospital

The only person who was taken to the hospital due to knife wounds from last Friday evening in Navarre has been released.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Division has been working continuously on the fatal stabbing from Friday evening in Navarre.

SRSO has identified the person responsible for the deadly stabbing. SRSO is also in the process of reviewing videos and other evidence of the incident. The focus of the investigation has shifted from identification of suspects to the circumstances surrounding the use of force. At the conclusion of the investigation, the State Attorney’s office will review all of our findings to determine culpability.

There were many individuals at this incident and SRSO is looking for anyone who may have captured videos of that evening. Anyone with information is asked to contact our Major Crimes Unit at 983-1230.
