5th Annual Pirate Plunge The Pirates on the Panhandle, a 501(c)3 Florida nonprofit corporation will be hosting the 5th Annual Pirate Plunge into the Gulf of Mexico on New Year’s Day. Once again, this ticketed event will take place at Windjammer’s on the Pier with the Plunge into the Gulf starting at 12 Noon and the ‘After Party’ will continue till around 3pm. The Rowdies Rock Band will be on stage ‘Rock’n The Plunge After Party’ as usual.
There is a $30 entrance fee for pre registered Plungers and folks that sign-up the day of the event will be charged $35. Anyone can Plunge into the Gulf of Mexico with us; however, these fees will get you a bracelet that will allow you to partake in the ‘Grub & Grog’ until it’s all gone, and you will also be getting this year’s Orange Spider Die-Dye Pirate Plunge T-shirt (while supply lasts and sizes are not guaranteed).
This year’s proceeds from the Plunge will go to assist two different nonprofit organizations within our Navarre community; the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge along with Set Free Refuge. The Wildlife Refuge, located on Hwy 87 in Holley, is a Florida nonprofit organization whoses mission is to provide educational, conservation and rehabilitation for the welfare of the wildlife in the five (5) counties on the Flordia Panhandle; while Set Free Refuge is also a Florida nonprofit organization, their mission is to provide a safe place for sexually exploited and human trafficked women.
