A red Dodge Dakota was traveling north on Highway 87, within the right lane traveling northbound on Highway 87, within the paved shoulder at 8:35 am according to a FHP press release.
A 49 year old female pedestrian was struck from the rear by the right front of a 2000 Dodge Dakota driven by Christian Clemons . The Navarre woman who has not been identified was pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver of the vehicle and passenger had no injuries.
