It’s been a long time coming but good things are worth the wait. The Navarre pier today has a new addition which is a restroom facility.
This restroom is ADA compliant, has air-conditioning, and will even send out a text to let you know it needs to be cleaned. This is not your average restroom.
It will be running off the battery power until electrical power can be hooked up. The restroom is right now locked but should be opened as of tomorrow morning.
UPDATE: On the third day of operation for the portable restroom someone locked themself in and broke the door handle trying to get out.
