Tonight there has been a drowning of a one year old girl in the canal adjacent to 7372 Grand Navarre Boulevard.
According to Danny Fureigh , Fire Chief Navarre beach Fire and Rescue at approximately 8:30 PM this evening the body of a one year old girl was pulled from the water in the canal by a concerned neighbor.
Emergency officials were called to the residence at 8:03 PM and a search of the waters nearby was conducted.
This is an ongoing investigation. No further details have been released.
