
Yesterday, (8/24/23) at approximately 8:00 pm, Narcotics Investigators with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at Garcon Point Rd and Interstate 10.
During the course of the stop, SRSO investigators discovered that Henry Dewayne Watson III, a passenger of the vehicle, had an active federal warrant and was ultimately arrested.

Upon further investigation, 230 grams of cocaine, 230 grams of marijuana, and 79 grams of ecstasy were located inside the vehicle.
Watson was also charged with First Degree Felony Drug Trafficking: Phenethylamines 10 Grams or More, First Degree Felony Cocaine-Trafficking: 28 Grams less than 150k Cocaine or Mixture, and Third Degree Felony Marijuana Sell: Schedule I. Watson is currently being housed in SRSO detention facility.
The approximate street value of the drugs is $8,800.
