One of the fishermen on the Pier accidentally hooked a green sea turtle today. They are very prevalent on our beach, and have nests all along navarre. Thanks to the quick response and care in handling from of the Pier staff this little one will live. Jim from the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center picked him up. He will be logged and weighed then transported to the Gulfarium for any nessecarry medical treatment. From there he will be tagged and released.
