The baseball Raiders produced two runs in the bottom of the seventh to seal a 4-3 victory Thursday over the Crestview Bulldogs.

Korey Betts threw a complete game and picked up the win.

It was a pitchers duel. Navarre pinned two runs on Crestview ace Brayden Ruschmeier in the first inning. In the second inning, Aydan Shankland blasted a 2-0 delivery over the left field wall for a three-run homer. But then, the scoring stopped for four innings.

Then, in the bottom of the seventh, a leadoff single by Kolby Vitale lead to a game-tying run. He scored from second base on an error by the Bulldogs’ third baseman on Zach Marquis’ slow roller. Marquis moved to third on the play, and he scored the game-winner by sprinting across the plate on a wild pitch by Ruschmeier.
