Nic Hubbard has been living in Baltimore while he attends John Hopkins for treatment as he was diagnosed with Primary Refectory Disease Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a cancer which is resistant to traditional treatments and his insurance will NOT cover most of what he is going though at this time.
Nic is 25 and has been married to Lauren for a few years and they have a son, Logan, who turned one-year old on February 13th. The Hubbards have a home mortgage payment here in Navarre along w/paying rent in Baltimore, thus their expenses at this time are very high. The Pirates are assisting Deputy Hubbard and his family with a several events this month and have future events planned in order to raise funds to cover some of the experimental medical expenses and to help with their day-to-day needs.
