REMEMBERING BLACKHAWK 11 EVENT

On Saturday, February 20  at Broxson Outdoors in Navarre there will be a  REMEMBERING BLACKHAWK 11  fundraiser.

This will be a fun event for the whole family. Your support will help get the funds needed for next month’s memorial unveiling and remembrance event .

From 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. there will be food plates for only $5.00 each along with a raffle that will have some great prizes. A silent auction,  bake sale and more is planned.

Saturday, February 20 will be a day that you, your friends and family can join with other residents from Navarre and surrounding areas who will be there to give support.  $5.00 for a plate of food will really help bring in the needed funds to make the March 10th dedication and remembrance event a success.

We wanted to share with you a peak at how the memorial is progressing.

Blackhawk 11

11 Military Gold star  families will be Remembering the one year anniversary in Navarre Florida of their loved ones who perished in a Military Blackhawk  helicopter crash  in a public  Remembrance ceremony on March 10, 2016 on Navarre Beach .

This fundraiser is to benefit  and provide the traveling  expenses  for  all of immediate  surviving  Gold Star Family members including  Widows,  so many children , and parents of these Courageous  Brave Men .

The Remembrance Committee in charge of coordination and is 100% unpaid volunteers and working with other activities planned in honor of the fallen.  There will Also be a 770 mile Marine Raider Ruck March  beginning in Navarre  and ending in N.C  in honor of their Brothers in
Arms .

The  7 U. S.  Marines were stationed at Camp LeJuene N.C.  and  the 4 U.S. Army National Guard were Hammond Louisiana .
