Navarre Beach Lifeguards are back!! After starting 2021 in what felt like an Antarctic freeze, the weather has finally started to warm up and wetsuits are becoming optional to some. NBLG concluded a winter 2021 rookie academy and returning guard training at the end of February.
The photo of your 2021 Navarre Beach Lifeguards! You will see them on the beach every day starting March 13th.
The Lifeguards wish to to thank Santa Rosa County BOCC, and Administration for their continued support, Santa Rosa County Emergency Management Operations Chief Tom Lloyd for training the staff on the new Lucus 3 device that is in service with Navarre Beach Fire Rescue and NBLG, and AMR/Lifeguard EMS Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kim Landry for stopping by and giving an airway management lesson.
Next time you see a lifeguard make sure to thank them for they not only do a great job but are there to save lives.
