Today at a Economic and Development meeting Rob Williamson made a proposal that would allow the new Milton Courthouse to be built in downtown Milton on 5.3 acres of land that the city already owns or will shortly own.
The present courthouse would remain open until the new courthouse is built saving money in relocation and the SRC would not have to buy any land to build the new courthouse. The new courthouse would still be in the downtown location but not behind the current building.
