ROBBERY IN NAVARRE

On 1-21-16 just after midnight, Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Tom Thumb, located at 2695 Hwy 87. The 911 call was reference to a robbery which had already occurred.

 

Deputies arrived and were met by a clerk who stated a tall male, approximately 6’3 tall, brown eyes and a dark tan entered the building with a weapon. He was wearing all black with a bandana over his face. After the suspect stole several pieces of merchandise and demanded money, he exited the store in an unknown direction.

 

Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes units were dispatched to the location where they took over the investigation. This case remains active at this time. The detail of what exactly was taken during the robbery is currently not being released at this time.
