Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested William Robbie Temples on 2-21-16 related to Robbery and Battery charges. He was taken to the Santa Rosa County jail where he remains on a $10,500 bond.
On 2-21-16, a female was shopping at the Publix in Navarre at approximately 9:00 pm when she was approached by Temples. After a conversation and request for cigarettes, the female entered the store and purchased cigarettes for Temples. While outside the store the victim gave Temples the cigaretts for free and did not want to be paid for them. Temples then was charged with striking the female victim in the head and fleeing the area.
Deputies successfully circulated the area and found Temple walking nearby the crime scene. Temples was interviewed and subsequently arrested for:
(1 count) Second Degree Felony, Robbery
(1 count) First Degree Misdemeanor Battery
