MILTON, FL – According to the National Weather Service Mobile, there is a severe weather threat for late afternoon/evening, Wednesday, December 14, with the potential of considerable wind damage, embedded fast-moving tornadoes, and severe thunderstorms for the Western Panhandle of Florida.
Due to the potential for this severe weather in the area after school on Wednesday, December 14, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of Santa Rosa County District School (SRCDS) students and staff, Superintendent Dr. Karen Barber has announced the cancellation of all after school activities for Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
District officials will continue to monitor the weather conditions in collaboration with the National Weather Service Mobile and Santa Rosa County Emergency Management.
