On June 6, 2024, Santa Rosa County Sheriff Office (SRCSO) deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 Mercedes for impeding traffic and a window tint violation on Interstate-10 WB.
A probable cause search was conducted due to the smell of a narcotic odor. SRCSO seized several counterfeit Apple products to include 12 pairs of Air Pods, 8 Apple watches, 9 iPhones, 15 Pro Max cell phones, 7 iPads, and 2 Mac Book Pro laptop computers. The total retail value of the actual Apple items is $19,610.81
SRSCO arrested Patrick Chattman, date of birth 3/21/1986, and Alize Jordan, date of birth 5/7/1996, for possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of counterfeit goods $2500-$20,000 which is a third-degree felony.
These items are commonly sold as authentic items on Facebook marketplace or in parking lots to unsuspecting buyers. Please beware.
