Detectives with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, Major Crimes Division made an arrest on 11/1/16 in reference to a sexual assault/battery investigation.
Charles Calvin McMullen was arrested yesterday evening. McMullen, an Agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement was charged with 2 counts of sexual assault/battery on a victim under 12,and 2 counts of lewd lascivious behavior, victim less than 12.
This case was presented to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office this past Friday, October 28, 2016. McMullen is currently in the Santa Rosa County Jail and is being held on a $300,000.00 bond.
Although an arrest has been made, this case remains active.
Navarre Newspaper reminds it’s readers that Charles Calvin McMullen is presumed to be innocent unless he is found guilty in a court of law.
