This afternoon around 3 pm a beautiful Sailfish was caught from the longest pier on the Gulf of Mexico.
Local angler Roddy Pate landed a Sailfish from Navarre pier. Kyle Rohrig , Thomas Thielman and LeLand Carr assisted Roddy.
This was first reported in Navarre Fishing Report a section in Navarre Newspaper. We also notified the store at the pier of the Sailfish catch and it was written on the board below Ladyfish. Later on when we returned back at the pier for a night wrap-up the Today’s Catch board had the word Sailfish erased. Why is it that someone wanted it removed from the board? We have no idea but now you know what was caught at Navarre pier today.
