SRSO Promotion
Today marks a milestone within the traditions of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Wendell Hall is announcing the promotion of his first Chief Deputy since he was sworn in as the Sheriff of Santa Rosa County in the year 2000.
Major Bob Johnson is being promoted to Chief Deputy effective January 9, 2016. His responsibilities will be to oversee all aspects of the Sheriff’s Office to include Law Enforcement as well as our Detention Facility. Chief Johnson will assume all responsibilities in the Sheriff’s absence.
We want to wish Chief Johnson the best in his new position.
