SURFER SAVES DROWNING BOY IN GULF

Tonight east of Navarre pier a local surfer saved a child in the Gulf.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Benjamin Cross was surfing when he saw a young boy in trouble and came to his aid , most likely saving his life. This happened after 7 PM tonight and the young boy was brought in on Benjamin’s surfboard.

Two trucks from Navarre Beach fire and rescue arrived at the East End of the Public parking Lot along with a EMS vehicle.

We are happy to report that the young boy is doing just fine and due to his age we will not release his name.

Danny Fureigh Chief of Navarre beach fire and rescue plans to recognize Benjamin for his heroic actions that saved a life tonight.
