SURTAX RESULTS FOR SCHOOLS
The results are in from the vote yesterday on continuing the half cent tax for county schools and the tax will continue.
The yes votes decided the outcome by a margin of 3 out of every 4 votes. Santa Rosa County has 133,000 registered voters and 12,196 total votes were cast.
