
The Okaloosa County Sheriffs Office is investigating a suspicious death at a mobile home in the Niceville area.
Deputies were initially called to the location at 1534 Pine St. around 7:20 AM Wednesday in reference to a missing persons and indications of a possible death.
Arriving deputies found a deceased female, later identified as 45 – year old Lauryn Marotto of that address, underneath bedding in the master bedroom.
And autopsy will be conducted.
OSCO investigators working the case have issued a warrant for 57 – year old Bret Bay, who lived at the trailer with Marotto, for tampering with evidence.
Bay and his white 1995 Isuzu station wagon are currently missing.
Bay is a white male with gray hair and brown eyes, 5’10” tall and weighing around 200 pounds.
