The U.S. Coast Guard is still searching for a missing swimmer near Navarre Beach.
At 6:18 p.m. on Tuesday, the Coast Guard received a report that Jay Wiley Evans, 64, had not returned from his daily swim.
The U.S. Coast Guard stated the following:
• Coast Guard Station Pensacola 45 foot response boat with a ‘medium’ crew
• Two Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crews
• Coast Guard Cutter Cobia
• Florida Wildlife Conservation
• Navarre Beach Fire Department

UPDATE: A body has been discovered behind Caribbean Resort condo on Navarre beach. EMS, Fire and Sheriff have been there for over an hour.
The body has been identified as the missing swimmer.
