Work on Navarre beach will begin April 1.
Sand placement will take place from April 18 until June 6.
Work will end on June 11.
Project Equipment – the Contractor plans to use two hopper dredges for construction of this project; the “R.N. Weeks” and “B.E. Lindholm”. These dredges are not being used on the Pensacola Beach project.
Work Sequence – Construction of the project will be in an east to west direction, beginning at the Marine Park and working towards the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
The Contractor will be working 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
