Traffic stop leads to more charges

On September 15, 2017 deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a white truck near the intersection of Datura st and Hunter st in Milton. The vehicle was stopped for speeding, 35 mph in a 20 mph zone. Upon approaching the vehicle, a heavy smell of burned marijuana was coming out of the vehicle. At that point, the suspect was asked to exit the vehicle. 

After searching he vehicle, a large amount of narcotics were located to include:

4.2 lbs of suspected marijuana packaged in 4 large clear plastic bags 2 small containers w/suspected THC tar
1 Digital Scale with suspected marijuana residue
51 Round White Buprion pills
13 Small blue round Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills (30mg/Schedule II) 28 grams of White Rectangle Methadone pills (10mg/Schedule II)
6 Yellow oblong Alprazolum pills (.5mg/Schedule IV)
2 Yellow bar Alprazolum pills (2mg/Schedule IV)
6 Peach round Alprazolum pills (Schedule IV)
7 White round Methadone pills (10mg/Schedule II)
9 grams of White round Hydromorphone pills (Schedule II)
3 White round Modafinil pills (200mg/Schedule II)
2 sets of Zig-Zag rolling papers
$11,307 in assorted rolls of cash 

Zachary Brian Frick

Th suspect was identified as Zachary Brian Frick of MiltonBased on the statements and evidence discovered during the investigation, Frick was arrested and transported to the Santa Rosa County Jail where he was charged with seven counts violation FSS 893.13.6a Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, one count violation FSS 893.13.6a Possession of marijuana over 20 grams, and one count violation FSS 893.135.1c1 Trafficking an opium derivative . Frick was given a total bond of $160,000 and will be given a court date when he is released.
