Late this afternoon a two car accident on Gulf Blvd shut down traffic flow causing backups east and west.
Three people were taken by ambulance to local hospitals. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The accident involved a truck and SUV. The impact between the two vehicles was severe.The FHP is still investigating what happened.
