TWO STOLEN VEHICLES RECOVERED

North District deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office recovered two separate stolen vehicles within less than two hours  of each other on Sunday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

32-year old Odon Garza of Quincy was heading east on Highway 90 around 6:45 p.m. May 1st when a Flock license plate reader picked up that the U-Haul he was driving had been reported stolen out of Murfreesboro Tennessee. A deputy made a traffic stop and Garza was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Around 8:15 p.m. another deputy located a white pickup truck in the area of Highway 90 and Coleman Street and a check revealed the truck was reported stolen out of Walton County.

After a traffic stop, 33-year old Danae Stiner of Tucson Arizona was taken into custody on a charge of grand theft of a motor vehicle. She admitted she didn’t know who the truck belonged to and had taken it without the owner’s permission.
