
Two Stops, Two Guns, a lot of Fentanyl, and a Bottle of Tequila leads to arrest in Escambia County.
On April 27th, ECSO deputies made a traffic stop near the intersection of Davis Highway and University Parkway after witnessing a car run a red light.
Deputy Stimmell and K-9 Streeter were called to the scene where they discovered cocaine, a handgun, paraphernalia, and an open bottle of tequila inside the vehicle.
Timothy Wright was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphilia. He was also given citations for running a red light, possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage, and driving after 10:00 p.m. while having a learner’s driver’s license.
Wright was given a $3,000 bond.

The same morning a different vehicle was pulled over near the intersection of Creighton Road and Burgess Road for a traffic infraction.
This time Deputy Stimmell and K-9 Streeter located a backpack inside a car containing a gun, a pill bottle with Fentanyl inside, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
Also, inside the car deputies discovered more Fentanyl, methamphetamine, and crack cocaine.
Once at the Escambia County Jail, Corrections Officers discovered Fentanyl inside Rhiannon Adkins-Woods underwear. They also found crack cocaine inside David Reed’s coin pocket.
Rhiannon Adkins-Woods was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of paraphernalia, and introduction of a controlled substance into a detention facility. Adkins-Woods was given a $16,000 bond.
David Reed was charged with trafficking Fentanyl, possession of cocaine, and introduction of a controlled substance to a detention facility. He was given a $115,000 bond.
