The first arriving fire crews reported fire through the roof and initiated a defensive fire attack as the fast moving blaze had spread throughout the attic causing roof collapse into the home. The 1,800 sq.ft. home is a total loss, sustaining major fire damage throughout.

The Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

One Holley-Navarre firefighter received minor injuries and required stitches for a laceration. No other injuries were reported.

Many thanks to our mutual aid partners Navarre Beach Fire,  Midway Fire and Florosa Fire as well as the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office and Lifeguard Ambulance Service for their assistance.
