UPDATE:
Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting this afternoon at approximately 12:00 pm. The shooting took place at the 9200 block of Quail Roost Drive in Navarre.
William Chris McClanahan-Spenler assaulted the victim with a sword. The male shot Spenler with a shotgun, wounding him. Spenler was taken to a local area hospital where he was released at approximately 4:00 pm.
Detectives arrested William Chris McClanahan-Spenlerfor Aggravated Assault with a weapon. He is being held at the Santa Rosa County jail on no bond.
