VOLUNTEER

With the advent of spring, the Panhandle Butterfly House is seeking volunteers to serve as tour guides. All volunteers work in teams, educating children and adults on the biology and habitat of butterflies and their importance in our ecosystem. New volunteers are paired with seasoned volunteers to learn the ropes.

Tour guides lead pre-scheduled groups through the exhibit and gardens Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays, April through August. Tour orientation will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, March 21 at the Navarre Visitor Center located in Navarre Park at 8543 Navarre Parkway in Navarre. For more information on volunteering or to RSVP, please contact Kay at (850) 936-1017.

The Panhandle Butterfly House is a nonprofit educational facility that brings visitors in close contact with live Florida native butterflies in gardens that support them. They are dedicated to educating visitors on the wonders of butterflies and the importance of protecting our pollinators. For more information on the Panhandle Butterfly House, contact Mary Derrick at (850) 623-3868
