The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division received information Thursday from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia that wanted fugitive Charles Franklin Cook was possibly in Crestview.
Cook had an active arrest warrant from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office for Domestic Violence Related Homicide and Aggravated Assault (Intent to Murder).
Last night, Investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section located Cook and his vehicle in the parking lot of Publix in Crestview.
He was taken into custody for the warrants and transported to the Okaloosa County Jail, pending extradition to Georgia.
Navarre Newspaper reminds our readers that Charles Franklin Cook is presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.
