On 2/22/17 at approximately 0212 Santa Rosa Deputies responded to the 6400 block of Eva Street , Milton in reference to a 911 call regarding a disturbance. According to the caller, he had struck his wife in the head with a hatchet during the altercation.
Upon arrival deputies made contact with Todd Michael Brown and took him into custody. His wife was located in the home with severe injuries.
The victim, Jamie Pogreba-Brown was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Brown was arrested and charged with homicide.
Navarre Newspaper reminds our readers that Todd Michael Brown is presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.
