Bones have been found by a person who was walking along Navarre beach this afternoon around 4:45 p.m.
At this time the Navarre Fire Department and SRC major crime unit are on the scene.
The small bones collected will be sent out for testing to confirm if they are human or animal.
Rich Aloy a spokesperson for SRSO said “testing results could take from several weeks to months .”
UPDATE: The bones found have been determined to be animal.
