While en route, Engine 37 Captain Will Moore reported seeing a large column of smoke.  He requested additional apparatus to respond.

Firefighters located a large brush fire in the woods behind Post Oak Lane.

Midway was assisted by Holley-Navarre’s brush truck. Florida Forest Service was notified, and they responded with two bulldozers to contain the fire.

The fire was estimated to be four plus acres.  No injuries were reported.
