Santa Rosa County, FL – On October 25, 2024, at approximately 04:40 PM multiple Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office units responded to a residence in the 9000 block of Meadow Wood Lane based on a report from a citizen stating they could see a female motionless on the floor through the window and requested a welfare check to be conducted.
Upon arrival, Deputies entered the residence and discovered the bodies of two individuals, both deceased. Based on preliminary evidence gathered at the scene, investigators believe this tragic incident was a murder suicide, in which Timothy Donahue (DOB: 12/16/1975) fatally shot Deborah Lyles (DOB: 12/16/1971) before taking his own life.
The area is safe and there is no threat to the public. This investigation remains ongoing. No further details may be released at this time.
