On the morning of 4/17/15 a bank robbery occurred at the Centennial Bank located on Hwy 98 in Navarre.
Investigators and K-9 units circulated the area after the robbery and located key pieces of evidence to include clothing worn by the robber. DNA samples were taken from the clothing and a match was returned to the Agency.
The suspect was identified as Joel Anthony Beauchemin (10-3-92) of Navarre. This evidence was presented to a judge who signed a warrant for his arrest. On 9/25/15, the warrant was served when he turned himself in at the Santa Rosa County Jail.
