Shooting- Milton
On 11-29-15 at approximately 1:40 AM. Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a shooting in the area of Woodville Road in Milton.
Upon arrival, it was discovered 2 individuals were shot at a residence on the 4200 block of Woodville Road. Both were taken to area hospitals where they were being treated for gunshot wounds.
Major Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene have responded to the incident.
This case is currently under investigation.

Detectives with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office are still actively working this investigation.
Early his morning, we reported 2 individuals were shot. One of the victims has died.
The name of the adult male victim is not being release pending family notification.
LATEST UPDATE
The individual who succumbed to injuries has been identified as Raymond Allen Everett. He was a black adult male, 57 years of age. He lived at 4225 Woodville Road in Milton.
At this time, we are still actively investigating this case. The second victims name is not being released at this time. That individual is still being treated at an area hospital .
We can report there are persons of interest in this investigation.
During the early morning hours of this incident, Everett was shot several times at the residence. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from the injuries sustained during the shooting. The second victim was also shot several times, he is expected to survive.
