Early this morning the Los Cabos Mexican Grill had a fire which caused substantial damage to the tex-Mex Restaurant. Located at 9500 Navarre Parkway in Navarre.
There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
According to Chief Norton the call came in to the station around 2 am. At first it was thought to have involved several business at the strip mall. When Navarre Beach Fire Department, Midway Fire District and Florosa Fire Department fire trucks arrived the fire was coming only from the restaurant. The fire was put down quickly.
The fire is believed to have started in the bar area and the cause was electrical . The exact cause and orign of the fire is under investigation.
There was slight water and smoke damage to the stores adjoining the restaurant.
Los Cabos is a complete loss.
