At 4:50 pm today EMS and Navarre Fire and Rescue are on Navarre beach attending to a person at the edge of the gulf. Fire trucks are also there. The flag is red. No report on how the person is doing.
UPDATE; We have learned that it is a cardiac arrest and have no more information.
At 5:16 pm an ambulance left the beach heading over the Navarre bridge with their siren on.
Navarre is lucky enough to have The Weekend Food Program of Navarre.They help feed over 600 children from the Navarre area and the Pirate Plunge is an important fundraiser to help them continue the great work that is helping children in Navarre.
There is a new event for this year that is the New Year’s Eve Dinner/Dance at the Navarre Convention Center.
