Facebook is testing a video streaming service which will allow you to stream live events to your friends on Facebook. This will be built right in Facebook and a seprate app will not be needed.
Want to share the football game live or a local event will be as easy as recording with your phone and sharing with your friends on Facebook.
Celebrities were the first to test out this feature at the beginning of 2015 and now a select few users will now be added to the beta version.
There is no date set when everyone can use this feature but it is expected that sometime in 2016 you might see this happen.
You can post comments and see a viewer count. A copy of the live event will be saved to your timeline for others to watch latter on.
