Last night at a fatal accident occurred at US 98 and Village Parkway.
According to FHP report a 2015 GMC Acadia was travailing eastbound on US 98. When the driver of the Acadia entered into the turn lane to turn right onto Village Parkway the front collided with a pedestrian who had been running in the bike lane on the South side of the roadway.
Edward O Brien Pursell has been identified as the pedestrian who was pronounced deceased on the scene at 7:09 p.m. by paramedics.
