Tonight there was a fatality accident in Escambia County at State Road 292 North Pace Blvd. and West Gonzalez Street according to a FHP press release.
The incident time 7:38 p.m.. A maroon in color Nissan maxima was traveling southbound on State Road 292 N. Pace Blvd. approaching W. Gonzalez Street. A pedestrian was attempting to cross N. Pace Blvd. at the time, result in in the pedestrian being struck by the Nissan Maxima. The pedestrian succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The pedestrian a female age 37 is from Pensacola. No name has been released.
