Fire destroyed a brand new home in a new subdivision at 3043 Jane Lane in Crestview.
The residents had just moved in last week. Thankfully there were no injuries.
FDs were on-scene and the Red Cross responded to assist with the family’s needs.
Initial reports are that a child woke up and smelled smoke then alerted the family to get out.
