FLORIDA ENTERS PHASE ONE ON MONDAY

The governor excluded Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, saying their businesses will begin phase one when it is safer. The rest of Florida will begin phase one on Monday, May 4.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Restaurants can offer outdoor seating with 6-foot spacing between tables and   indoor seating at 25-percent capacity.

Retail can operate at 25-percent of indoor capacity.

No changes for bars, gyms, and personal services business.

Schools remain distance-learning only.

Visits to senior living facilities are prohibited.

Vulnerable individuals should avoid close contact with people outside their homes.

Hospitals and surgical centers to restart nonessential, elective procedures but     only if they have sufficient medical supplies and agree to help nursing homes and assisted living facilities prevent and respond to coronavirus outbreaks.

Movie theaters, bars and gyms will remain closed for now.

Social distancing in public is still recommended, and masks are optional.
