On 06/04/2024 at 1:25 pm, the Midway Fire District was dispatched to the intersection of Gulf Breeze Parkway and Woodlawn Beach Road for a serious motor vehicle crash with injuries.
Santa Rosa County Communications received numerous 911 calls, reporting two vehicles had overturned and there was possible entrapment. Captain Phelps of Engine 37 arrived on scene and advised everyone had self extricated.
Several individuals involved in the crash were transported by Lifeguard E.M.S. to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment. None of the patients sustained any life threatening injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
